Advancing the Framework

COURTESY LEVER ARCHITECTURE

While the greater architecture and construction industries are only beginning to recognize the great potential of mass timber as a building material, our friends at Lever Architecture are among the handful of true pioneers who have pushed that potential forward for years.

Starting in 2015 we produced architectural models to support the development and promotion of their groundbreaking Framework building, the first wood high-rise design in the US to receive approval for construction.

The project has deservedly won the firm multiple awards, including the US Tall Wood Building Prize, an Acknowledgement Prize from the LafargeHolcim Awards, and Honorable Mention in the Best of Design Awards for Research, by Architect’s Newspaper.
